I was at Griffith park that day up on one of the trails. It was about 104 degrees in full sun where I was. We waited for hours for the shuttle and escorts of the F16 there were 2 of those and at the end it came from the opposite direction in back of us. Before we could even turn around and set up it was gone. The photos did not come out very good so they are just a souvenir. As we walked down the trail back to where we had parked our cars the shuttle looped around and flew right past us. It was so low and beautiful such an awesome day. Of course by then the camera had been put away. Thank you so much for posting this incredible shot to remind us all of the spectacular endeavor.
